Dorchester Educators is a union chartered by the state of Maryland to represent the bargaining unit of certificated employees in Dorchester County in contract negotiations, grievances and legal matters.

It is an association of professionals affiliated at both the state and national level who work toward the betterment of their profession through collaboration with the community, with school leaders, with politicians, and through professional development.  Through its state and national affiliates, members have access to the most recent research, methodology and training in order to better provide quality instruction and improve student achievement.  

It is an organization of volunteers who work together to support their union, their association and their profession.
